Finance ministry: Russia’s Jan–Apr budget deficit at 3.4 tln rbl

MOSCOW, May 11 (PRIME) -- Russia’s budget deficit amounted to 3.424 trillion rubles in January–April, the Finance Ministry said late on Wednesday.

Revenue shrank by 22% on the year to 7.782 trillion rubles. Oil and gas revenue slid by 52% to 2.282 trillion rubles, non-oil and gas revenue grew by 5% to 5.5 trillion rubles.

Budget spending soared by 26% to 11.206 trillion rubles.
